A Universal University? Teaching and Learning for All
For all those with a teaching or support role (including Associate Tutors [ATs], Graduate Teaching Assistants [GTAs], and people on the PGCertHE), the annual Teaching and Learning Conference is a great opportunity to hear external speakers and Sussex colleagues discussing a topic that is very important to the University and HE in the UK. This year’s event is happening next week (3rd June) so you need to sign up soon.
This year’s conference is titled ‘A Universal University? Teaching and Learning for All’ and focuses on internationalisation. As well as 4 distinguished external speakers the conference will hear from Sussex colleagues including Chris Marlin, PVC (International) and in her first week in post, Clare Mackie, the new PVC (Teaching and Learning).
This will be one of the first events in the new teaching building (Fulton Building) and will give you the chance to experience it from a student/participant perspective.
If you are too busy to attend the whole day you can book for just the morning or afternoon sessions – and there is a choice of parallel sessions so you should be able to find something that will be relevant and interesting for you.
If you can make it for the whole day we will provide a buffet lunch – but you need to book by Thursday 27th if you want food!
Full details and online booking are on the conference webpage
