Peer review of grant proposals: have your say in a survey

Posted on

I recieved a lovely request from Stephanie Santayana, a research assistant at the Centre for the Study of Interdisciplinarity (CSID), University of North Texas, asking if we could help her get participants for a study.  And seeing as she asked so nicely, and because the topic is very relevant to researchers (the grant proposal peer-review process), I said yes 🙂 So here’s the message:

We would like to solicit your participation in a US National Science Foundation-funded study of the peer review of grant proposals. (Your input is important even if you do not have direct experience with peer review or grant proposals.)  The survey should take about 20 to 30 minutes of your time.

This research focuses on the ways in which different agencies incorporate considerations of broader societal impacts into the peer review process.  To Partcipate, please complete the survey.

If you have any questions, please contact us at

Best Wishes,
