Applications are now open for the Doctoral School’s Researcher Mentoring Programme 2011-12.

Doctoral Researchers (mentees) and Research Staff (mentors) are invited to benefit from the Researcher Mentoring Programme 2011-12.

Opportunity for Doctoral Researchers to:

  • be mentored by a member of Research Staff for nine months, with at least seven 1-to-1 sessions with your mentor
  • expand your skills and experiences across discipline boundaries
  • receive help and support from the Doctoral School to make the most of the relationship
  • meet with other doctoral researchers to share knowledge and experiences
  • Doctoral Researchers: find out what’s involved then apply to be mentored
  • Deadline for applications: Tuesday 25th October 2011

Opportunity for Research Staff to:

  • mentor up to 3 doctoral researchers, to gain skills and experience in preparation for possible future supervision duties
  • receive intensive training, support and careers advice over the nine months from the Doctoral School and a Research-Careers Advisor
  • meet with other research staff mentors to share knowledge and experiences
  • Research Staff: find out what’s involved then apply to be a mentor
  • Deadline for applications: Tuesday 25th October 2011
