The Brilliant ClubThursday  10th May from 5.30-6.30 in Fulton 104: Meet the Brilliant Club!

The Brilliant Club trains and pays doctoral researchers to deliver programmes of university-style tutorials to small groups of high performing pupils aged 13-18 who attend schools in low-participation areas and are from low-income backgrounds. They are looking to recruit doctoral researchers from Sussex (all subject backgrounds) to work as tutors in London schools over the coming months. As well as being an excellent opportunity for professional development, PhD students are paid up to £600 plus travel expenses for around 6 days work, with the exact amount depending on the number of groups you work with (maximum = 3). They provide all resources and readings as well as excellent training and development.  More details at: http://www.sussex.ac.uk/careers/jobs/search?keyword=&type=0009&location=&category
